sound fades in out intermittently......tried several models. I had a 13 in model wih the i3 processor and had issues with the sound so I returned it. I tried the 11 inch screen model and the audio had no issues but only had the laptop for 1 day. It was too slow so i decided to get the i5 processor model. It also has problems with the sound fading in and out. Been with Dell support many times. They have removed and re-installed the drivers and Dell audio program also. They also re-installed the driver for the network adapter. Still no go.
I believe its not a hardware issue. It happens when I attach headphones and external speakers also. I did watch a movie from the HDMI port and had no audio issues.
Seems like it maybe a software/driver issue or problem with this Dell Audio program itself.
