I just upgraded my Inspiron n5030 to Windows 10. Everything seems to work fine, except no sound comes out of anything plugged into the headphone jack. The realtek hd audio detects that headphones are plugged in, but no sound comes out of them and settings for headphones cannot be adjusted (grayed out). I go into control panel>sound, but it doesn't recognize that the headphones are plugged in there. I can only assume that the sound card does not have an updated driver for Windows 10 on this machine.
Is there another driver that will remedy this issue? Will Dell be releasing a new driver any time soon?
