I just bought Logitech Z506 speakers to play music from my laptop and the audio doesn't sound as good as when my friend plugs the speakers into his iPhone or Mac computer. The bass is noticeably worse and the melody and vocals are faint. Overall it just sounds weak coming from my laptop.
I've already tried updating my intel drivers and nothing has come of it. I'm in the process of trying to update my realtek hd audio drivers because that driver seems to be from 8/21/2013 which seems to be old, but I'm not sure if that will do anything.
The Inspiron 15R comes with software called Dell Audio with MaxxAudio that controls some of settings. I'm not sure if that is interfering with anything.
