I have bought nothing but Dell for years and with the new Windows 8 and having to update to Windows 8.1, I have had horrible performance from my computer and one problem after another an if I don't update to 8.1, I can't use some of the apps I purchased. Today I called to find out where a battery for my computer is, that I ordered Sept. 19th, and was told I would receive it in 1-2 business days...... "Great!! " I said...."I'll get the battery on Wednesday. That's good, because my laptop won't function correctly and I have to keep backing up my project that I have worked on for one year........every single day".....To which the customer representative in India replied...."Dell has no batteries in stock, you will receive it in 1 to 2 business days when it becomes available". What kind of company builds computers, but has no batteries to run them??? In the mean time my computer is getting more and more screwed up. I'm done with Dell. I sit and look at my daughter on her Mac, with not one problem and she bought it 6 years ago. NOT ONE PROBLEM EVER. I will never recommend Dell to anyone ever again.
