I bought a new Inspiron 17R 5737 last week. I have Windows 7 & Realtek HD Audio. Whenever I try to watch a movie or listen to music with my headphones plugged in there is a very loud static or bleeding sound. Even on volume level 1 the lowest setting not muted the static is very loud and when you turn the volume higher you can still hear the static along with whatever it is I'm listening to. It is so annoying it really makes it difficult to enjoy watching or listening to anything using headphones. There is no static when my headphones are not plugged in & I've tried 3 different sets of headphones to and there is static with all of them. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I never had this problem using the same headphones on my previous Dell laptop that recently died.
