Have a Dell Inspiron B130 running Vista. I cannot record using an external mike.
When I right click on the "speaker" icon in the lower task bar and select SOUND/ RECORDING , I get "No audio devices are installed". I go into Device Manager and click on "Sound, Video and Game Controllers" and all I see is one entry "High definition Audio Device" next to a speaker symbol.
