Hi All,

I have switched on to Dell Latitude E5430 from HP Laptop.  I was able to use succesfully the Logitech A-00031 (Wireless Headset for IPAD) on HP.  However I am not able to use the same on the Dell computer.  I really want this headset to work on my Dell computer too - could I get some help here - let me tell you the steps performed and what is the current status -

A.  Headset is paired succesfully - there is no audio (playback or recording both).

B.  Softwares like Microsoft Lync or Skype do not recognize this pairing

C.  Logitech Headset is visible as a device in my bluetooth devices

D.  If I double click on the icon of the headset and click on connect - the bluetooth configuration wizard runs for a minute or two and finally throws error and connect doesn't happen succesfully.

E.  I have read on the headset that its bluetooth 2.0 whereas I belive on my current laptop its bluetooth 4.0 (I think ...) Could this be a problem ?

F.  I have tried older versions of Wiacom bluetooth drivers as well - V6.0 cannot be installed; it just throws error - that device not found and hence installatio stops

G. Have tried installing the HP service pack which enabled my headset usage on dell - didn't impact my dell pc but didn't help the cause too

Any furhter clues - could any of you please help me to get my headset working again on Dell Latitude E5430 for all telephony and audio purposes ?

Thanks,

DJ.
