Hey everyone, I have a windows 7 64-bit that was working perfectly fine until this morning. I have spent all day trying to fix it but so far the audio still isn't working. When I plug in headphones it's fine, but no matter what I do it won't play sound without them. I have tried setting speaker/headphones to default, I've restored the system twice, I've downloaded IDT high definition audio, then I tried sigmatel because someone said it worked, and neither worked. I don't understand why this happened. Even if I had accidentally deleted an audio driver, which I know I didn't, then system restore should have fixed this. I'm starting to think it's a problem with the computer, maybe the headphone jack is messed up and the laptop thinks there's headphones plugged in when there isn't. Please help me, I'm getting quite frustrated after 10+ hours of work trying to fix it.
