I bought a Dell inspiron 15 series laptop last week. The in-built speakers and mic are working fine. But when I use headphone for chat, only headphone speakers are working but the external mic is not. I noticed the headphone jack is single instead of the old double jack. How do I connect the headphone jack and use the headphone with mic. I need privacy for chat as I share a room and dont want to use the inbuilt mic and speakers. Is it possible to connect it? pls help
