I bought this Dell Insperon 15 5000 Gaming laptop less than a month ago.
I will post here before contacting the store I bought it from incase it's a quick fix. My laptop is still under warranty so I am not too fussed on finding a fix.
Straight out the box I have had problems with audio. It seems I can't listen to music, watch videos OR play games without the sound distorting, Crackling, Going almost slow motion like and my laptop freezing up. This all happens within 7-8 seconds and then returns back to normal but 10-20 minutes later the same thing happens. I had a Lenovo IdeaPad 110 before this, running Realtek audio and again I had this problem but on a larger scale, So I am thinking it may have something to do with Realtek audio.
Fixes I have tried:
- Updating all sound/graphics drivers (Includes keeping up to date with the Dell updates via notification from system tray)
- un-installing/installing drivers
- Keeping CPU% as low as possible
If anyone knows a fix or at least knows WHY this is happening I would really appreciate your help.
Thank you in advance
