Hi Dell,
I've given up on this, just so you know. We've bought an HP to replace this.
The problem: Realtek Audio drivers unreliable on a Dell Inspiron 7347 with Windows 10 and Realtek Audio Drivers. I've read the FAQ, tried all the usual things:
- Updated drivers, both through Dell utilities/ Dell Update, and from Realtek.
- Played with FAQ on audio ( http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/laptop/f/3517/t/19994938
-Played with MaxAudio
- Basically, nothing works.
My daughter got on the line with you many times. I've worked on it. We've probably put 50-100 hours into it.
So, to Dell: If you can post a solution, to the problem where the speaker audio from a realtek driver sometimes plays, sometimes comes in for a few seconds, then fades, and is influenced but not controlled by where your mouse is on the screen, then hit me with it. It's your only chance to rescue your reputation with me.....and I do influence corporate purchasing for about 300.
Otherwise, to all others: buy another vendor. This is really not acceptable.
