I just got an Inspiron 7579 and hooked it up to my existing monitor, which has a Dell AC511 Soundbar on it I can get sound out of the soundbar, but only using a generic Windows USB Driver. When I try to use the Waves Audio that was installed on the computer, I get a message that the device (soundbar) is not supported and I've tried to change the audio driver for the soundbar to the Realtek driver as it may be connected to the Waves software, and in the worst case I could use the Realtek EQ to make the soundbar sound a little better. Looking at the sound settings and Device Manager, I can't see a place to change the soundbar's driver.
If anyone has a fix for this, I'm game to give it a try. Thanks in advance for any suggestions you may have.
