I've owned my Dell Inspiron (13.3-inch, seventh gen i7, 1 TB HDD, Windows 10) for about three weeks max. The sound has now failed three times. I've updated the Realtek driver twice and each time that has fixed the poroblem - for a few days. The update process renders my laptop unusable for at least an hour or two so I don't regard thjis as an acceptable fix. Any ideas why a new machine should do this and how to fix it?
