Inspiron N5010 sound doesn't work with iTunes (Windows 10)

When I start iTunes it often tells me that there is a problem with the sound card.  I can reset the sound card by:

1.  Right click on the speaker icon on the right hand side of the task bar.

2.  Left click on Playbakc devices.

3.  Left click on Speakers/Headphones to highlight it.

4. Click on Properties (A new window opens)

5. In the new window click on the Advanced Tab

6. Click on Restore Defaults.


This always works but it is a pain to have to so this most times that I use iTunes.  Does anyone have a way of keeping iTunes working withour repeating this process?
