Good day everyone.
I recently bought Dell Inspiron 15 3543 (August 10 2015.) and after Installing Windows 7 64bit I realized my headphone/headset jack is not detecting my new Logitech H150 headset (1 jack for audio and 1 for mic) or even my old headset (also 2 jacks) and mobile headphones (1 jack for audio and mic).
I tested those headsets and headphone on my old PC and they are working well.
I downloaded audio drivers from Dell official site ( on link: http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/product-support/product/inspiron-15-3543-laptop/drivers/advanced )
After I saw nothing helped, I installed 2 more drivers from Realtek official site ( on link: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=24&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false ; both links for R2.79 )
Before I installed any audio drivers, Sound in Control Panel was recognizing Headphones but there says: „Not plugged in“. After installing any audio driver, it would DISSAPEAR and there would be only Speakers.
On this laptop I also have Debian Jessie and there I have sound in my headset. It is not so good but there is sound (perhaps installing newer audio driver would help or buying adapter for 2 jacks combining into 1).
Now, I dont know what to do. In my opinion that jack is working cause it has sound on Debian, but I need to solve Windows problem. Should I buy something like this http://static.komputronik.pl/product-picture/6/ADAPDEL65344-1.png or http://www.bilder.delock.de/produkte/orig/5493e974971a68.77402719.jpg and would that work (if the links are broken those are adapters that combine 2 jacks into 1 jack or 2 jacks into usb)?
Any ideas, suggestions, etc?
p.s. I cant send my laptop to service because I need it for my job.
Thank you in advance.
