NEW XPS 13

Hello,

I have a new XPS 13, and there is a realtek driver with intel sst device. When I put my headset in, it comes up every time with a select device (which is really annoying), and then when I select headset it does not turn the microphone on. It works if I reset the computer, but not if I subsequently plug this in. As I spend a lot of time on skype, this is pretty useless. I have to select headphones and then it will use the mic from the computer, but this is not ideal as the quality is not as good. I have looked at everything and can not get it to work. Is is possible to remove all the realtek drivers and use just the default microsoft drivers? How can i get past this problem?
