Inspiron N7010 with HDMI port, but I'm unable to listen through the surround sound?

I have and Inspiron N7010 with HDMI port, but I'm unable to listen through the surround sound?

I have an 3.5 jack to dual audio connection to surround but no audio, It appears that the audio goes to TV through HDMI, what can I do? Please someone help me
