Dell 7000 series. How to get webcam to work? Laptop does not recognize that is there is a webcam? HELP!

I cant get the webcam to work. I recently got the laptop and i tried to skype with it for the first time but it dosent recognize that there is an integrated webcam. I dont know if its a software issue or a hardware one? helpppp
