I am needing some help with my dell inspirion 17R SE:
Some how the Microphone got deleted out of the Sound in Control Panel in Windows 8.1. I reinstalled the IDT High Def Driver Audio Codec but it still not showing up. Not sure if its because of the realtek thats also installed High Definition Audio Device. The other one is NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible) (WDM). Not sure which one controls the Microphone but I am up for some advice as I don't know where to find the other drivers listed as I dont see them on the Dell website. I appreciate any tech person that can help.
I installed this so far - IDT High Def Driver- 5460_Audio_Driver_HCMKP_WN_6.10.0.6426_A00.EXE
