Precision M4400 speakers do not work when docked

Hello,

I have a Precision M4400.  The internal speakers work fine when the laptop is undocked.  When I dock the laptop, the internal speakers do not work, but I can connect external speakers to the headphone jack and the speakers work fine.

Any advice to get the internal speaks to work while docked?
