My speakers work great, however my headphones are not working when plugged in. I have searched online and on this forum for help, however nothing is working to fix it. I tried enabling hidden devices, however my headphones/speakers are linked as the same device. I have also tried reinstalling audio and that has not worked.
How can dell or Windows 8 send these products out! I am getting very frustrated. First I was sent a cracked screen, it was replaced and I was happy with the service. Now Dell is telling me my warranty is up on my brand new laptop but my headphone sound is not working, and that I am no longer able to get support from them. How am I to resolve this? I hadn't tried the headphone jack previously.
