Almost two months ago I bought a Inspiron 15r laptop, I've noticed multiple problems with this computer which has been getting on my last nerve. The first problem had to of been when I first got the computer, after constant updates my internet still is going sometimes only 43 kb/s. It's not my router considering I use to use my old laptop from the same distance away getting 1mb/s. However that didn't bother me too much, so I continued with my life. The next problem I noticed is when I close my laptop, and turn it back on after the log-in screen it goes completely black, the only way to fix it is to turn off the laptop. As again, this is just a minor problem which happens rarely. The main problem I'm having now is when I use to plug in my adapter to my laptop I use to hear minor static. Hearing it the first time I thought it was something to do with my battery pack so I took it out and let my computer rest for the day. It continued to happen for two more days so I always kept the volume off. Now even without being plugged into the adapter I can still hear it and it's more frequent. Even with headphones is I manage to hear it. I have had nothing new in my house which could disrupt the laptop, so I'm sure it's not a mixed signal. This is honestly ridiculous, I expected to get a well-maintained laptop for price of 650$, at least one that works after two months of use. Since I am busy often I cannot stay on the phone for an hour waiting for assistance. A laptop originally priced at 679$ without shipping should work for the price you paid for it. I have not once dropped my laptop, or do I ever do anything to damage it. My only guess is I got a faulty audio card which effects both my laptop and headphones when plugged in. And what I've been reading up on is that I'll have to get a new one considering there's no way Dell covers laptops that're two months old without getting a specific warranty. If not, then I HIGHLY recommend everyone never to get this laptop, if something goes wrong it's on you not Dell.
